Special Woodstock is a family-oriented music festival held at Providence Farm in Duncan, B.C. Canada. Our aim is to provide a day of fun in the sun for not only musicians with special needs and attendees but all the other members of our community that have learned about this magical event as well!   

We are a non-profit event and are hosted by the Lions and Lioness Clubs of Vancouver Island and the Gulf Islands and sponsored by caring community agencies, service groups, individuals, and businesses.  We all, including the musicians and technicians, volunteer our time and efforts to create a festival that will delight you! 

Our beautiful site features areas with shade and portable shelters and plenty of room at our three stages to dance on your feet or in your chair!  If you are, or will be arriving with a person who has special needs, PLEASE check out our Facilities page.  

So start planning now to make it out to this special day!  The event is free, as is transportation if your are able to connect with our transportation from Duncan, Victoria, or Nanaimo.  So, if transportation is a problem, please contact either us or your local Lions club, and together we'll help you find your way to all the fun. 

There will be a donation box at the entrance to help offset costs and keep us going for the next year's event, so your help and attendance is appreciated!  One word of caution... Special Woodstock is habit-forming!  Be prepared to get hooked on this magical event!

So, please bring your friends and family and get ready to have a blast with your island community!
