Allison Crowe

Born 28 years ago, on Vancouver Island, in the
harbour city of Nanaimo, B.C., today Allison Crowe's reach is global.
The audience for her music videos and song downloads numbers in
the millions every year.
"Allison sings with such an intensity of
emotion, it's easy to see why she's often quoted as saying "Why
music? Why breathing?"
"I love singing for people," says
Allison Crowe. "It's a way to connect and share with others.
Communication is crucial. Just being able to do what I do, to write
and sing and perform, makes me feel not only alive, but incredibly
lucky. Knowing at any moment everything could change, I don't take one
second for granted."
Ken McCoy Band

Ken and his band have been performing and
recording over the last 20 years at every kind of show from
small acoustic intimate settings to full blown out 20,000
people concerts! In 1985
Ken quit his job and hit the road playing music. He has never looked
back. To date, he has written hundreds of songs and recorded and
released numerous singles to radio that hit the charts in several
countries including Canada, Europe and Australia. Ken has written,
produced and released 3 full-length projects. In 2004 Ken released "Prayin'
for Rain" donating 100% of the sales of the CD single and airplay
royalties to the Canadian Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund.
With over 20 chart hitting singles
released to radio to date, countless nominations and awards including
SOCAN songwriter of the year and single of the year for “Prayin
for Rain”. Ken’s tour schedule is never ending and charity
work as well as preparation for an upcoming CD, there is no sign of
stopping for Ken.

Performers/Musicians & On-Site Entertainment
We have three stages going full-out all day! One stage has a
professionally operated sound system and is suitable for larger
performances and dancing. Our Rose Garden stage has
a simpler sound system with a smaller more intimate site and is
suitable for smaller performances and groups. The Karaoke Room
is indoors and has a selection of music available for all to
participate. Please
contact us if you would like
to be involved.
Our heartfelt thanks to all
those performers who came out and made the 2009 edition of Special
Woodstock so wonderful. 2010 is our 11th Annual Music Festival, and you are invited!
All performers & entertainers volunteer their time
to this great annual event.
