Special Woodstock is a unique event which takes place each August at Providence Farm in Duncan, BC.  While this non-profit celebration is specifically organized for the benefit of those people who have special needs, it is open to all who want to share their joy in life with others. It is a magical day that transcends physical or mental boundaries for all who participate. The 2009 event had over 1100 people onsite!  This event is funded solely by donations - there is no charge for attendance.

Music and fellowship are powerful tools!  We combine professional musicians with our special performers to the benefit of all.  From the moment you arrive until the moment you leave, we offer you the opportunity to be part of a life-changing experience.  Music is one of the original and most potent therapies in the life of any human being.  Many of our performers practice all year for the opportunity to get up on stage and present themselves to the audience at this event. We are truly honoured to be a small part of this process!

We, as the Special Woodstock Committee (comprised entirely of volunteers) work and plan year round in order to put on this event.
