SPECIAL WOODSTOCK 2010
CELEBRATES ITS 11TH YEAR OF EMPOWERMENT THROUGH MUSIC
Special Olympics focuses on athletics, Special Woodstock focuses on
music and the arts.
Through the efforts of volunteers from the community and sponsors
from Island Businesses and Island Lions clubs, comes the music
festival that rivals all others.
WHAT:
A music festival comprised of
Professional Musicians supporting non-
professional musicians with developmental disabilities together on one
stage
for an island community family audience.
WHO:
Allison Crowe; The Ken McCoy Band; The Smiley Family Band; M’Toni
Malika Marimba Band; What About Us; Four Door; over 60 performers on
2 stages.
WHERE: Providence
Farm; 1843 Tzouhalem Rd, Duncan B.C., Vancouver Island
